The Detroit Developer Roundtable is a diverse and inclusive network of Detroit Developers who have made the commitment to relentlessly promote the growth and economic prosperity of the city of Detroit.

Our Mission.

To act as a real estate advocacy group within the City of Detroit. Our purpose is to exchange ideas around urban planning, community engagement and responsible development practices within the city of Detroit.

 

The DDR Charter

 

We believe that the time has come to create a forum for relationship building, exchanging of ideas, unifying the developer community’s position on local, state and federal policy matters, and increasing transparency to promote efficiency of the marketplace in which we operate.

Todd Sachse
Broder & Sachse Real Estate & Sachse Construction

Todd Sachse is a partner and founder of Broder & Sachse Real Estate based in Detroit, MI. He is currently involved in all aspects of corporate strategy and planning for the company, and sits on the firm’s leadership team. Todd is also the owner and founder of Broder & Sachse’s sister company, Sachse Construction, which is also headquartered in Detroit.

Dietrich Knoer
President, Eastern Market Development Corporation

Dietrich A. Knoer is a developer, investor, advisor and instructor in real estate. He is the President of the Eastern Market Development Corporation and teaches Development and Finance at the Urban Planning Masters Program at Wayne State University.  In 2016, Dietrich co-founded The Platform, LLC and focused on developing residential and mixed-use communities throughout the City of Detroit until he left the role of President in 2019.

Rod Hardamon
URGE Development Group

Roderick A. Hardamon (“Rod”), a Detroit native, is the CEO of URGE Development Group (“URGE”), a real estate development and business innovation firm based in Detroit, MI.  URGE is focused on systemic change in urban communities through creative placekeeping and placemaking.  Mr. Hardamon leverages his twenty years of Wall Street experience in strategy, business innovation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and operational transformation to enhance and accelerate each development and business he engages.

David Di Rita
The Roxbury Group

David Di Rita is a founder and principal of the Roxbury Group. David has over 30+ years of corporate, legal and transactional experience. He is actively involved in the firm's real estate development and advisory work, typically involving challenging and complex projects, utilizing public and private financing.
